Celtic Cable Scarf

My best friend is moving to Rhode Island in a few months, and I am trying to send her family off with all sorts of snuggly items to keep them warm during those cold East Coast winters.  Those winters we here in So Cal make fun of, she will now have to deal with.  So it kind of sucks for her.  But, anyway, I'm working on this lovely cabled scarf made of Borrocco Vintage, (which I've fallen in love with!), and ran out of yarn 18 rows before the end.  I cast off where I was, but it looks awful.  So I am forced, (but not exactly kicking a screaming), back to my LYS for one more skein of this lovely stuff.  I'll have to come up with somthing to do with what's left over.
